Avatar Star Addresses Exciting MCU X-Men Casting Rumor

With the X-Men coming to the MCU, casting reports and rumors have surfaced online. Recent speculation involves an Avatar: Fire and Ash star who has been linked to the role of Jubilee.

What did Trinity Bliss say about the MCU X-Men rumor?

Trinity Jo‑Li Bliss is best known for playing Tuk in Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash. Bliss is now garnering interest from the MCU, with many fans calling for the young star to play Jubilee.

During a recent conversation with The Direct, Bliss addressed the Jubilee news.

“Oh my gosh. When I saw them, I was like, ‘Oh, that would be really cool.’ Like, ‘What do you know that I don’t?'” Bliss said. “But I mean, I love the X-Men side of things, so that would be really cool. But I have not been cast as Jubilee.”

When The Direct suggested that online speculation could eventually lead to an official call from Marvel, Bliss added, “Maybe. Manifest it.”

Jubilee is one of the youngest members of the X-Men. The female mutant can create energy blasts in her hands.

Jubilee made several cameos in the early days of 21st Century Fox’s X-Men movies. Katrina Florece played Jubilee in 2000’s X-Men, while Kea Wong depicted the mutant in 2003’s X2 and 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. In 2016, Lana Condor appeared as Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse.

In the animated X-Men ’97, Holly Chou voices the role of Jubilee.

It’s unknown when Marvel will officially introduce the new actors who will play the X-Men. Several actors from Fox’s X-Men series, including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, will reprise their roles for 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday. One project to keep an eye on as a potential debut for the MCU’s X-Men is 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
