Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira, Devon Bostick Star in Mile End Kicks Trailer

Sumerian Pictures has shared the official trailer for Mile End Kicks, the upcoming romantic comedy starring Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira and Diary of a Wimpy Kid’s Devon Bostick. The film will arrive in theaters on April 17, 2026.

“In the film, a 24-year-old music critic gets romantically involved with members of an indie band she decides to publicize, set against Montreal’s 2011 indie music scene,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Mile End Kicks trailer?

The video introduces Ferreira as an aspiring music critic who moves to Montreal. There, she gets drawn to two members of an indie rock band, leading her into an unexpected love triangle. The trailer highlights how she will deal with the dilemma of falling in love with two guys in the same band, while also navigating the beginning of her career.

Mile End Kicks is written and directed by Chandler Levack. The ensemble cast also includes Stanley Simons, Juliette Gariépy, Jay Baruchel, Isaiah Lehtinen, Robert Naylor, Emily Lê, Audrey Ann Boucher, Magi Merlin, and more. Before its theatrical release, the film had its world premiere last year at the Toronto International Film Festival. Since then, it has already garnered a perfect approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 16 reviews.

The film is executive-produced by Ferreira, Brian Alkerton, Timo Argillander, Fraser Ash, Nate Bolotin, Todd Brown, Niv Fichman, Tim Godsall, Matt Johnson, Kevin Krikst, Adrian Love, Olivia Nasner, Tim Ringuette, Andrea Scarso, Haley Vickers, and Ian Webb.
