The Last Hail Mary Trailer Previews The Asylum’s Sci-Fi Movie Mockbuster | Exclusive

ComingSoon is excited to debut The Last Hail Mary trailer for The Asylum’s latest sci-fi movie mockbuster. Releasing before this month’s Project Hail Mary starring Ryan Gosling, the film features similar stakes to saving the Earth, although this time due to the Sun swallowing up planets. With Earth and Venus in danger, a team of scientists (including a Martian) works to save humanity.

“When the planet Mercury is swallowed up by the Sun’s gravitational pull, a team aboard the Interplanetary Space Station, including a suspicious Martian scientist, must race to reverse the effect before Venus, and even Earth, are destroyed forever,” says the official synopsis.

Who made The Last Hail Mary?

Directed by Marc Gottlieb (Ape X Mecha Ape: New World Order), the film is out on digital today. It stars Juliette Cecile (The Beach Read Murders), Esmeree Sterling (The Haves and Have Nots), Brennen Amonett, Canyon Prince (Ashley Jones Is Perfectly Normal), and Bianca Foscht (Day of a Lion, Eternity). It was written by Gottlieb and Ryan Ebert (Shark Side of the Moon) and has an official runtime of 90 minutes.
