Popular Robert De Niro & Brad Pitt Movie Gets 4K Release Date

A classic crime drama film starring Robert De Niro and Brad Pitt is getting a new 4K release for its 30th anniversary, with fans soon able to check out the movie at home.

Sleepers, the 1996 crime drama from writer and director Barry Levinson, is set to release on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on April 21, 2026. The movie will be available both online and in-store at major retailers, and can also be purchased digitally from places like Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and more.

Alongside the film’s 4K release, Sleepers will also get some new special features, including:

• The Making of SLEEPERS: A Conversation with Barry Levinson: Uncover the inner workings of creating the film, from the production design to adopting the novel into a screenplay, with director Barry Levinson.

Alongside De Niro and Pitt, Sleepers also starred Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Jason Patric, and more. The film was based on the book of the same name by Lorenzo Carcaterra and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Score.
