Daniel Radcliffe Reveals ‘Weird S–t’ He Kept From Harry Potter Sets

Daniel Radcliffe starred in eight Harry Potter movies and became a global icon in the process. During a recent discussion on Collider Behind the Scenes, Radcliffe revealed the mementos he kept from the sets of the iconic film franchise. It seems that out of all the memorable items featured in the films, Radcliffe decided to hold on to something very unlikely.

Daniel Radcliffe took home Harry Potter’s fake arm from Chamber of Secrets

Throughout the session on Collider Behind the Scenes, Daniel Radcliffe went over a variety of topics and answered many queries. While doing so, he was asked about the props that he kept at home from his shootings.

Radcliffe revealed that he had kept two of the iconic glasses from the sets of Harry Potter, alongside a very offbeat item. Radcliffe kept the prosthetic arm that was used in a segment of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

“I think I’ve got two pairs of Harry Potter glasses actually. One from the beginning and one from the end. And they’re not at my house, so don’t come and rob me. They’re a safe somewhere else,” the actors said. He added, “I had some weird s**t from Harry Potter actually that I really liked. Like I they let me keep like a prosthetic arm that I had made for when all the bones got removed from my arm in the second film.”

The actor also added that he had the habit of collecting IDs from sets of his films whenever his characters had one. “I think I kind of stopped doing this, but I used to…anytime a character I had had some sort of like…ID, like a fake driver’s license or something like I would keep them,” Radcliffe added, “So, I’ve got one of them from Horns. I’ve got I think there was something that I had from when I played Alan Ginsberg. I used to keep shoes and pairs of jeans. Like, I’ve definitely got a pair of shoes from a few characters. So, now what I’m saying is yes, I’ve stolen quite a lot over the years.”

Harry Potter remains one of the most popular film franchises of all time.
