Sterling K. Brown & Vivica A. Fox Star in Revenge Movie Is God Is’ Wild Trailer

Orion Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios have released the first trailer for Is God Is, the upcoming revenge movie starring Sterling K. Brown and Vivica A. Fox. The film is set to release in theaters on May 15, 2026.

“Is God Is follows twin sisters bound by an unbreakable connection as they fulfill their dying mother’s final command: hunt down the monstrous father who destroyed their family. Their pursuit unfolds as a bold, stylish thriller that weaves biting humor into sinister suspense, where sisterly devotion becomes a deadly weapon and justice demands blood,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Who is in the Is God Is trailer?

Alongside Brown and Fox, Is God Is also stars Kara Young, Mallori Johnson, Janelle Monáe, Erika Alexander, Mykelti Williamson, and Josiah Cross. The movie is written and directed by Aleshea Harris and is based on the award-winning play of the same name by Harris.

Tessa Thompson, Kishori Rajan, Riva Marker, Janicza Bravo, and Aleshea Harris serve as producers on the film. Stacy O’Neil, Nicole King, and Kenneth Yu are attached as executive producers.

Brown is best known for his multiple high-profile roles in award-winning projects like The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, This Is Us, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Paradise.
