Hugh Jackman Says Ryan Reynolds Isn’t Taller Than Him, Reveals Secret
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds once again engaged in friendly banter, joking about each other’s height in a new post. Jackman took to social media to share a black-and-white selfie of the duo holding a Nautical Almanac, subtly giving a shoutout to their co-owned team, the BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team. Amid the team promotion, Jackman also took a moment to weigh in on who’s taller, sparking a lighthearted discussion among fans as well.
Hugh Jackman makes a height joke on Ryan Reynolds
Jackman took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a black-and-white photo of him and Reynolds, posing with a Nautical Almanac, which gave a playful nod to their co-owned Australian SailGP team. In the post, the Logan actor wrote, “He’s not taller. His hair is just higher.” However, the internet claims that the duo is actually the same height, i.e.,1.88m.
Fans instantly took to Jackman’s comment section to react to their funny banter/team promotion. A fan wrote, “He’s clearly taller Hugh.” Another one added, “He is standing on a telephone directory.” A third one said, “Tell Ryan to put down the hairspray.” Other reactions included, “Ah, so it’s all about the hair height, not the height height,” “Sure, sure. If you say it 20 times in the mirror every day it will come true,” and “What kind of shenanigans are you guys up to now.”
Last year, three-time SailGP Australia champion announced that Jackman and Reynolds are the new co-owners of the team, who will join driver and CEO Tom Slingsby, spearheading the newly rebranded team.
Sharing a joint statement, the duo wrote, “We’re incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure. Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country, as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia. No comment on whether we’re writing this in our BONDS. No further questions.”
BONDS Flying Roos is heading next to the KPMG Sydney Sail Grand Prix, taking place from February 28 to March 1.
