Jeremy Piven Solves a Violent Murder in Thriller Movie Past Life Trailer

Trinity Content Partners and Miracle Media have shared the official trailer for Past Life, the upcoming psychological thriller starring Golden Globe winner Jeremy Piven (Entourage). It centers around a celebrity hypnotist and a renowned war reporter, who must work together to catch a serial killer from the past.

“In the film, Jason Frey, a skeptical journalist haunted by trauma, experiences a violent murder through hypnosis. As he investigates, he uncovers links to an unsolved crime from before his birth, forcing him to question whether past lives are memory or menace,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the release date for Past Life?

Past Life will be available to rent or own on digital platforms in the U.S. starting on March 24, which will then be followed by its UK release on April 6. The movie also stars pop sensation Pixie Lott (Christmas Karma) as Claira, Aneurin Barnard (Peaky Blinders, Dunkirk) as Jason Frey, Tim McInnerny (Game of Thrones, Gladiator II), Kate James (Demon Eye) as Emily, Emma Lau (The School for Good and Evil) as Beth Cope, Lucinda Sinclair (Hollyoaks) as Jane Carter, Nicholas Farrell (The Iron Lady) as Elliot Reed and more.

The movie is directed by Simeon Halligan, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ray Bogdanovich and Dean Lines. It is produced by Rachel Richardson-Jones, Pierre Romain, and Michael Laundon. The creative team consists of cinematographer Ali Asad, editor Mark McKenny, composer Samu Csernak, production designer Martin Butterworth, art director Rebekah Cutts, costume designer Lucy Hallard, and costume designer Claire Hatch.
