The director posted the photograph to Instagram on February 17, offering fans a look at the demanding conditions under which the film was made.
“Standing in the freezing rain in Detroit with Ben Affleck as we brought Gotham to life for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Snyder wrote alongside the image. The photo captures Affleck in full costume, highlighting the physical demands involved in the film’s large-scale action scenes. The post quickly generated renewed discussion among fans of Snyder’s DC films.
