Who is Star Wars’ Embo in The Mandalorian and Grogu?
Embo, a Kyuzo male bounty hunter from the planet Phatrong, operated throughout the Clone Wars. He carries a bowcaster and uses his large rimmed circular hat as both a weapon and a shield. He debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with Dave Filoni providing his voice.
Throughout the Clone Wars, Embo teamed with Sugi’s band of bounty hunters and later took jobs for the Hutt Clan. He faced Darth Maul and Savage Opress in combat, joined Boba Fett’s Krayt’s Claw, and helped carry out the kidnapping of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. He fought Anakin Skywalker to a standstill and ranked second only to Cad Bane in bounty tallies during one season.
