Zach Cregger & Whitest Kids U’ Know Touring New Movie Mars With Alamo Drafthouse Q&As | Exclusive
Barbarian and Weapons director Zach Cregger and other Whitest Kids U’ Know members are touring their animated movie Mars at seven Alamo Drafthouse locations. Directed by Sevan Najarian, it’s the sketch comedy group’s final project following the death of Trevor Moore, who recorded his lines before tragically passing away in 2021.
Each showing of Mars on the upcoming tour will feature a live Q&A with the creators and stars, although the exact Q&A lineup will vary per location. Cregger, Timmy Williams, Sam Brown, and Najarian will be in attendance for two showings in Los Angeles on February 20. Q&A guests in other cities will be announced soon on Alamo Drafthouse’s website.

What do we know about Mars?
“The story centers on Kyle (voiced by Cregger), a dentist whose entire future has already been planned out. When Kyle wins a contest to travel to Mars, he ditches his wedding and heads for the red planet, only to discover that the luxury space voyage is a total scam, his fellow passengers are deeply unwell, and everyone gets stranded with no way home. Classic Whitest Kids problem-solving ensues,” says the official description.
Mars is written by and features the voices of Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Trevor Moore, Darren Trumeter, and Timmy Williams. The release of Mars is a long time coming, as it was first conceived in 2012 and was made thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign.
