Zack Snyder has once again sparked excitement among DC fans after sharing a new image of Amy Adams’ Lois Lane. The photograph, posted by the director from the set of Man of Steel, has prompted fresh reactions online.

Zack Snyder shares Amy Adams’ photo as Lois Lane

Zack Snyder recently posted a behind-the-scenes image of Amy Adams in character as Lois Lane on his Instagram page. Sharing the photograph from Man of Steel, the filmmaker wrote, “The incomparable @amyadams fearless and brilliant as Lois Lane. Captured by Clay Enos during Man of Steel.”

The image prompted swift reaction from followers in the comments section. Some used the moment to “restore the Snyderverse,” while others focused on Adams’ performance, praising her portrayal of iconic Lois Lane. One user wrote, “The best Lois Lane.” Another added, “Yes! Such an underrated Lois! The best reporter!” A third person commented, “My favorite Lois Lane of all time! Amazing shot!” Meanwhile, a fourth person added, “The great Lois we’ve ever had, hands down.”

Snyder has continued to share memories from his time working on DC films. Last year, the director uploaded a behind-the-scenes image of Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, captioning it, “Photo by Clark Kent.”

Adams portrayed Lois Lane across several DC films, beginning with 2013’s Man of Steel and later returning for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The role has since been recast for the rebooted Superman series, with Rachel Brosnahan playing the character.

Speaking with Variety in 2024, Adams said she welcomed the change and expressed enthusiasm for Brosnahan taking over the iconic role. “I love her. She’s gonna be great. Hopefully, the role will be infused with her sensibility and her natural humor and strength and wit. I’m really looking forward to it,” she said.
