Apple TV+ has officially announced the release date for one of its most anticipated original movies, starring Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz. The streamer revealed the news and released first-look photos during its press day in Santa Monica.

Keanu Reeves’s Apple TV movie Outcome will premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on April 10, 2026. The film is a major return for director and co-star Jonah Hill, who has been largely absent from Hollywood in recent years. The newly released photos offer an exciting glimpse into the film’s world, featuring Reeves, Diaz, and co-star Matt Bomer in character.
In Outcome, Reeves plays Reef Hawk, a darling Hollywood star whose carefully constructed public image is threatened when he is extorted with a mysterious video. The footage threatens to destroy his career, forcing Reef to confront long-buried mistakes and personal demons.
As the crisis unfolds, Reef leans on his lifelong friends Kyle, played by Cameron Diaz, and Xander, played by Matt Bomer. Hill appears as Ira, Reef’s crisis lawyer. He helps in guiding him through a soul-searching journey aimed at making amends with people he may have wronged and uncovering the identity of the blackmailer.
Hill has described Outcome’s story as a reflection of modern life in the digital age. Saying the film is “a metaphor for what we all go through living on social media,” where public opinion can overshadow meaningful relationships. Written by Hill and Ezra Woods, Outcome is produced by Apple Studios. Adam Merims serves as executive producer (via The Hollywood Reporter).
The ensemble cast extends well beyond its leads. Outcome will have appearances from Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, and David Spade. Additionally, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk. Outcome also continues Cameron Diaz’s gradual return to acting following a decade-long break.
With its April release date now confirmed, Outcome is one of Apple TV+’s major spring releases.
