TMNT: Beloved Ninja Turtles Movie Returns to Theaters, Watch Trailer

A fan-favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is returning to theaters this spring.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze was originally released in 1991. Directed by Michael Pressman, the sequel to 1990’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features the voices of Robbie Rist as Michelangelo, Adam Carl as Donatello, Brian Tochi as Leonardo, and Laurie Faso as Raphael.

Now, Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts, and Warner Bros. Pictures are bringing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze back to theaters in 4K for its 35th anniversary. Check out the announcement trailer below (watch more trailers and clips):

When is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze returning to theaters?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze will return to theaters nationwide from March 13 to March 19, 2026.

A description of the movie reads, “Back by bodacious demand! Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael return for their most thrilling adventure yet. This time, the evil Shredder has learned the secret of the ooze, the force behind the Turtles’ mutation and amazing fighting abilities. Now more dangerous than ever, Shredder is determined to destroy the Turtles, bringing along new villains Tokka and Rahzar for a battle to the end.”

In addition to the feature presentation, the theatrical anniversary event comes with a never-before-seen featurette — The Ninja Turtles: Revolutions — that allows viewers to “step into the mind of TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, joining him on a vision through the past.” A press release continues, “Sit down alongside the icon at his  personal drawing desk while he illustrates through the revolving history and mythos of  the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles legend.”

This announcement comes after the first live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie received a theatrical rerelease last year for its 35th anniversary. That event brought in around $3.7 million domestically.
