2 Classic Bruce Willis Films Will Be Streaming for Free Next Week

A pair of Bruce Willis classics are heading to the free streaming service Tubi soon. The 1988 film Die Hard and the 2007 sequel Live Free or Die Hard, the fourth installment in the action series, will be making their way onto the ad-supported platform within the coming week. This follows news in January that five additional Bruce Willis films became available to stream for free on YouTube by way of Lionsgate Movies.

Two Die Hard movies are arriving on Tubi soon

Both Die Hard as well as Live Free or Die Hard will be releasing on Tubi on February 1, 2026.

These two films are available to stream on various paid subscription services, including Hulu, Sling TV, fuboTV, and Amazon Prime (just to name a few). So this new release offers a good opportunity for viewers to watch both movies without having to shell out any money at all, for as long as they remain on the platform.

Adapted from the 1979 novel “Nothing Lasts Forever” by Roderick Thorp, the original Die Hard has Willis play 33-year-old New York City policeman John McClane fending off a group of terrorists who have captured his wife and two daughters at a holiday party within a high-rise building.

Live Free or Die Hard, otherwise known as Die Hard 4.0 outside of North America, sees McClane, who is 52 years old in the film, attempt to prevent Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant) from hacking into the nation’s computer network. This movie comes after the events in Die Hard 2 (1990) and Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995).

The wife of Bruce Willis, Emma Heming Willis, has shared an update on the action legend’s health as he deals with frontotemporal dementia. She explains that her husband is suffering a neurological condition called anosognia “where your brain can’t identify what is happening to it.”

During an interview in September 2025, Emma shared that she took early warnings of her husband’s dementia as hearing loss that Willis sustained during the production of the original Die Hard.
