Game of Thrones Star & Chloe Fineman Join Popular Prime Video Movie’s Sequel
Amazon MGM Studios has welcomed two new cast members to the highly anticipated sequel of its hit Prime Video romance comedy movie. The 2023 movie was based on the 2019 bestselling novel Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston.
Who is joining Prime Video’s Red, White & Royal Wedding movie?
Golden Globe nominee Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, Imagine Me & You) and Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman (Freakier Friday) have officially joined the cast of Prime Video’s Red, White & Royal Wedding sequel. Headey is set to play the role of Princess Catherine, while Fineman’s character remained undisclosed. Production had just started earlier this week in the UK.
The upcoming movie will feature the return of Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Henry, Taylor Zakhar Perez as Alex Claremont-Diaz, Uma Thurman as Ellen Claremont, Sarah Shahi as Zahra Bankston, Rachel Hilson as Nora Holleran, Ellie Bamber as Princess Beatrice, Clifton Collins Jr. as Oscar Diaz, Stephen Fry as James III, Thomas Flynn as Prince Philip, Aneesh Sheth as Amy, and Malcolm Atobrah as Percy Okonjo. The sequel will also feature new characters portrayed by Henry Ashton (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) and Alex Høgh Andersen (Vikings).
Jamie Babbit (But I’m a Cheerleader) is directing from a screenplay written by Gemma Burgess, Matthew López, and McQuiston. It is being produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Michael McGrath for Berlanti Schechter Films, alongside López and Sullivan Street Productions’ Jennifer Salke. McQuiston and Michael Constable are also set as executive producers. The first installment currently holds a Certified Fresh score of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 122 reviews.
