MCU Spider-Man Movie Swings Onto Peacock Very Soon

One of Tom Holland‘s beloved Spider-Man movies has found a new streaming home for the month of February. This comes ahead of the theatrical release of the franchise’s long-awaited fourth installment, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, on July 31, 2026.

What is the Spider-Man: Homecoming Peacock release date?

Beginning on February 1, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ 2017 movie Spider-Man: Homecoming will finally be available to stream on Peacock. This served as Holland’s first solo superhero movie as the fan-favorite Marvel character, after making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War.

“Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man,” reads the synopsis. “He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.”

The first installment was co-written and directed by Jon Watts. The movie also starred Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Gwyneth Paltrow, and more. During its theatrical run, the movie earned a gross of over $880 million at the global box office. In addition, it also received high praise from critics and fans. At the moment, the movie holds a Certified Fresh score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 397 reviews.

Due to its success, the 2017 movie was followed by two more sequels, 2019’s Far From Home and 2021’s No Way Home, which were also blockbuster hits. Later this year, Holland will be returning to the franchise for his fourth Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, from director Destin Daniel Cretton. Joining him are Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, with Sadie Sink playing a mysterious key character.
