Spider-Man 4 Star Reveals the 1 Thing He’s Allowed to Say About MCU Movie

One of the stars of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, has humorously revealed the one thing he’s allowed to say about the MCU movie.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in United States theaters this coming July. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will once again see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also return as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds.

What can Jacob Batalon say about Spider-Man 4?

Speaking with SiriusXM about Spider-Man 4, Batalon couldn’t say much about Brand New Day, as plot details remain highly under wraps at this time. He did, however, disclose the one nugget of information that he can reveal.

“I do have hair in it, but that’s probably the most I could say.”

In addition to Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon, Marvel’s new Spider-Man movie stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone. Additionally, Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink, The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas, and Severance’s Trammel Tillman have all been cast in undisclosed roles, though there’s been no shortage of online speculation regarding who they might be playing.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.

After that, Avengers: Doomsday is being released on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. Both of those movies are being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers. It has not been officially confirmed as of yet regarding Holland’s presence in either movie; however, it is known that Sink’s character will appear in Secret Wars.
