Nicholas Galitzine stars as He-Man in the upcoming Masters of the Universe film, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios. A teaser trailer was announced in a January 21 post by Amazon MGM Studios, stating, “When times were simpler… Teaser Trailer Tomorrow!”
Travis Knight, known for Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings, directs the film, which hits theaters on June 5, 2026.
Following the teaser announcement, fans reacted on X (formerly Twitter) with enthusiasm.
One user posted, “Let’s go,” while another wrote, “Inject it into my veins!!!!” A user shared, “HE-MAN!!! My inner 80s child is screaming! So excited for this movie!” Another user’s post generated over 3,500 views.
Galitzine plays King Randor and Queen Marlena’s son, Prince Adam, and a former astronaut from Earth. The character resides in Castle Grayskull in the land of Eternia, which is guarded by the Sorceress. Adam transforms into He-Man using the Sword of Grayskull to protect Eternia from Skeletor, who aims to seize the sword and destroy the realm.
The footage provides a first official look at Galitzine in the role, following a previously shared silhouetted on-set photo. The film features Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn.
