3 Marvel Stars Answer Avengers: Doomsday Return Possibility
Avengers: Doomsday is months away from release, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating about which actors would be appearing in the film apart from the already confirmed cast. Now, in a recent interview, three actors who have appeared in the MCU in supporting roles but have not yet been confirmed for the film have revealed whether or not they will be showing up to assist the heroes in combating Doctor Doom.
Marvel actors on if they’ll be in Avengers: Doomsday’s cast
In an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the host asked Wunmi Mosaku, Idris Elba, and Martin Freeman, who played Hunter B-15, Heimdall, and Everett Ross in the MCU, respectively, if they would be showing up in Avengers: Doomsday.
Freeman responded while smiling, “Apparently not, not everyone’s [in it],” while Mosaku jokingly remarked, “Rude.” Elba then reminded Norton that his character died in the MCU, to which Norton quipped, “They all f—– die,” eliciting laughter from the former, the other guests, and the audience.
As fans know, Thanos kills Heimdall at the start of Avengers: Infinity War. This is after the former invades Thor’s ship to recover the Space Stone from the Tesseract preserved by Loki.
Heimdall plays a big role in the Thor films. He last appeared in the post-credits scene of Thor: Love and Thunder. Heimdall appears in Valhalla, greeting Jane Foster, who succumbs to her cancer following her final battle with Gorr the God Butcher.
Meanwhile, Hunter B-15 plays a prominent role in the Disney+ series, Loki. A brainwashed agent of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), she eventually remembers her former identity as Verity Willis. Hunter B-15 then befriends the title character and becomes the TVA’s leader. The character later appears in Deadpool & Wolverine. She arrests Paradox after learning of his use of the Time Ripper to destroy decaying timelines, including Deadpool’s home universe.
Elsewhere, Everett Ross features in Captain America: Civil War and has a sizable part in the Black Panther films. He last appeared in Disney+’s Secret Invasion. Ross is revealed to have been replaced by a Skrull and held captive in Russia. However, he is later rescued along with the other captured victims at the end of the series.
Avengers: Doomsday premieres on the big screen on December 18, 2026.
