Latest Netflix Thriller Gets Amazing RT Score & Reviews

Netflix’s newest crime thriller earns high praise from critics and secures an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score. A well-known director leads the project. Two major stars headline the cast, drawing attention with intense storytelling and strong performances.

The Rip reviews lead to great Rotten Tomatoes score

The Rip scores 84% on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer, based on 85 critic reviews. Joe Carnahan directs, with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck playing Miami cops who uncover millions in a stash house.

Brian Tallerico of RogerEbert.com gave it a 3/4, writing, “It’s a testament to Joe Carnahan’s direction that there’s not a false note in this talented ensemble.” John Nugent of Empire awarded it 4/5, calling it “a gripping, zig-zaggy potboiler.”

David Rooney from The Hollywood Reporter stated, “An ace cast led by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and twisty plotting that bristles with paranoia and mistrust make it an entertaining watch.” Peter Travers from The Travers Take gave it 2.5/4, saying, “It’s the Mattfleck starshine, plus the indisputable action bonafides of director Joe Carnahan, that sell this cop thriller when formula threatens to overtake it.”
