Popular Spy Movie Franchise Arrives on Netflix Today
One of the biggest franchises in the world is officially arriving on Netflix today, bringing with it the world’s most famous spy and all of his adventures.
What classic spy franchise is on Netflix beginning today?
The James Bond franchise is officially available to watch in nearly its entirety on Netflix beginning today. 26 of the Bond films have officially arrived on the platform, allowing fans to watch every era of Bond should they choose. Although Amazon MGM now owns the rights to the character, the movies have been hard to come across on various streaming platforms, until now.
While 26 is a lot of Bond movies, it is worth noting that one movie will be missing. In the history of the 007 movies, 25 of them have been “official” releases produced by Eon Pictures, beginning in 1962. However, two movies have been without Eon Pictures, including 1967’s adaptation of Casino Royale and 1983’s Never Say Never Again. Netflix will have 26 of the 27 movies, but will not include 1967’s Casino Royale in its streaming library.
