Olivia Holt Battles Zombies in This Is Not a Test Movie Trailer

Independent Film Company (IFC) and Shudder have shared the official trailer for This Is Not a Test, the upcoming horror thriller led by former Disney star Olivia Holt (Girl vs. Monster, Cloak & Dagger). The R-rated movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Friday, February 20.

“In the film, Sloane and a small group of her classmates take cover in their high school to escape their suddenly apocalyptic hometown. As danger relentlessly pounds on the doors, Sloane begins to see the world through the eyes of people who actually want to live and takes matters into her own hands,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the This Is Not a Test trailer?

The video introduces five teenagers who are trapped in their high school during a zombie outbreak. They must team up to find a way to survive the sudden apocalypse. The trailer highlights some of the movie’s gory and thrilling action sequences featuring the main characters fighting off zombies who have found their way inside the school. The ensemble cast also includes Froy Gutierrez (Hocus Pocus 2), Luke MacFarlane (Bros), Corteon Moore (From), Chloe Avakian (Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy), Carson MacCormac (Clown in a Cornfield), Joelle Farrow (Fresh Meat), and more.

This Is Not a Test is written and directed by Adam MacDonald, based on the 2012 YA novel by Canadian author Courtney Summers. It is produced by MacDonald and Cybill Lui, with Luke Taylor serving as an executive producer. The creative team consists of cinematographer Christian Bielz, editor Pamela Bayne, production designer Holly Sullivan, costume designer Rachel Anderson, composer Lee Malia, art director Fiona Cornelia, set director Laetitia Oudouhou, and more.
