Jason Momoa & Dave Bautista Kick Ass in The Wrecking Crew Trailer

Amazon MGM Studios has released The Wrecking Crew trailer, previewing the upcoming action comedy starring Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa. The Wrecking Crew is set to release on Prime Video on January 28, 2026.

“Two estranged half-brothers, Jonny (Jason Momoa) and James (Dave Bautista) are forced to reunite after their father’s mysterious death. As they set out to uncover the truth, buried secrets resurface, and loyalties are tested, unveiling a conspiracy that can tear their family apart. Together, they are ready to WRECK anything that gets in their way.”

What happens in The Wrecking Crew trailer?

The trailer follows the story of Jonny and James, two half-brothers who try to find the truth of what happened to their father. Along the way, they’ll also have to battle it out against people as they dive deeper into a potential conspiracy.

The Wrecking Crew is directed by Ángel Manuel Soto (Blue Beetle), from a script written by Jonathan Tropper. Alongside Bautista and Momoa, The Wrecking Crew also stars Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, Miyavi, Stephen Root, Morena Baccarin, Hugo Borich, Sean Meehan, Joshua Hamill, Maia Kealoha, Mark R. Black, David Hekili Kenui Bell, Lydia Peckham, Roimata Fox, and Branscombe Richmond.

Bautista had a busy 2025, starring in In the Lost Lands, Afterburn, and Trap House. Up next for him is a role in The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, Alpha Gang, and Road House 2. As for Momoa, he’ll next star in Supergirl as Lobo, Street Fighter as Blanka, and will also reprise his role as Duncan Idaho in the upcoming Dune: Part Three.
