Fans reminisce Logan after watching The Death of Robin Hood trailer
Hugh Jackman’s look from The Death of Robin Hood has sent fans on a trip down memory lane as they find similarities between Hood and his popular character, Logan, AKA Wolverine.
The A24 movie centers around Jackman’s character, who has moved past his past filled with crime and murder. He gets a chance to redeem himself after being saved by Comer’s character. However, things suddenly take a drastic turn, and Robin Hood seems to be pulled into another battle.
Following the trailer’s release on YouTube, many fans chimed in the comments section, with one of them stating, “This is Logan with a bow in medieval times.” Another user commented, “From “Old Man Logan” to “Old Man Robin Hood” is wild.” Meanwhile, another fan used Wolverine’s iconic catchphrase and wrote, “I’m Robin Hood bub.”
Additionally, The Death of Robin Hood trailer was posted on X (formerly Twitter). A user commented, “Logan! Part Deux looks interesting.”
Another fan also found similarities between Robin Hood and Logan’s stories and conveyed, “It reminds me of the movie Logan since it has Hugh Jackman, he’s old, and he’s dragging around a girl with him.” Another fan wrote, “I didn’t have Logan Hood in my 2026 bingo card.”
In December 2025, Hugh Jackman also talked to Entertainment Weekly about the movie and praised director Michael Sarnoski. He said, “What I love so much about Mike’s vision of Robin Hood is that the script delivered power, and it examines how power can be used for good or bad. Robin Hood is a real man in our story. With all the scars, the pain, the regret, and yes, the love. Mike’s story has weight to it. For me, it’s beautiful and human.”
