The Strangers – Chapter 3 Trailer Previews Madelaine Petsch’s Revenge
Lionsgate has released the official trailer for The Strangers – Chapter 3, the upcoming final installment to director Renny Harlin’s slasher trilogy. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 6, 2026, nearly two years after the first installment premiered.
“This final chapter delves into newer and darker territory, the franchise’s darkest descent yet — a ruthless thriller with scares that deliver. The Strangers – Chapter 3 closes the trilogy with a full-circle reckoning that expands the mythology of the iconic masked killers,” reads the official synopsis. “Madelaine Petsch returns as Maya for the Final Girl’s long-awaited vengeance, delivering a final chapter that fans won’t want to miss. Tethered by a frightening conclusion, Maya and the Strangers are locked on an unavoidable, unforgiving collision course — a showdown that proves they’re far from strangers now.”

What happens in The Strangers – Chapter 3 trailer?
The video shows the return of Riverdale vet Madelaine Petsch‘s Maya, who, after killing the original Pin-Up Girl at the end of the 2025 sequel, becomes her unlikely replacement. However, this opportunity leads Maya to enact her revenge against the remaining masked killers who had been terrorizing her since the first installment. The trailer highlights how much Maya has changed, as she’ll do everything she can to make them pay for ruining her life.
Besides Petsch, the latest sequel will also feature the return of Gabriel Basso as Gregory, Ema Horvath as Shelly, and Richard Brake as Sheriff Rotter. The Strangers – Chapter 3 is directed by Harlin, with Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland writing the screenplay. It is based on the characters created by Bryan Bertino. Producers are Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek. It hails from Lionsgate and Fifth Element, in association with Stream Media and Sherborne Media.
