Enola Holmes 3 Update Sets Release Date Window, New Photo of Millie Bobby Brown

Netflix has confirmed the release date window of Enola Holmes 3, an upcoming adventure movie starring Millie Bobby Brown as the titular sleuth.

The streamer revealed a new first-look photo of Brown as Enola Holmes. On X, the caption reads, “Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and Louis Partridge return in Enola Holmes 3, where Enola must crack life’s greatest mystery: love.”

When is the Enola Holmes 3 release date window?

Enola Holmes 3 is scheduled for release in 2026. The previous two movies were released in the fall. Enola Holmes premiered in September 2020, while Enola Holmes 2 arrived in November 2022.

The official logline reads, “Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide in a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”

Besides Brown, the cast features Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.

Philip Barantini directs Enola Holmes 3 from a screenplay by Jack Thorne, who wrote the previous two films. Barantini and Thorne both won Emmys for their work on the 2025 breakout hit Adolescence. The Enola Holmes films are based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer. 

Producers include Brown, Bobby Brown, Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia. Jake Bongiovi, Isobel Richards, Joshua Grode, and Michael Dreyer serve as executive producers.

The third Enola Holmes is Brown’s latest Netflix project. The Emmy nominee is coming off the heels of Stranger Things Season 5, which is already on Netflix’s Top 10 most popular English-language shows of all time. Besides three outings as Enola Holmes, Brown’s movie resume for Netflix includes Damsel and The Electric State.
