Netflix 2026 Trailer Previews Star-Studded Movies & TV Shows

Netflix has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming slate of 2026 content, including many returning and new movies and television shows set to arrive on the streaming platform.

What happens in the Netflix 2026 trailer?

The new trailer follows the format of its previous series of ads, which sees a woman coming across Netflix content while in the real world. This time, she finds a mysterious tarot reader (played by Teyana Taylor) inside of a deli, and is transported across different worlds Netflix has planned to showcase for 2026.

Throughout the trailer, the character is thrown into different universes from various Netflix shows and movies. The trailer also features a litany of cameos and other appearances from stars of some of Netflix’s biggest projects.

Some of the projects featured in the trailer include the second season of the Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, One Piece Season 2, Emily in Paris, Lupin, Devil May Cry, and perhaps the biggest of the bunch, Cillian Murphy’s return as Tommy Shelby, teasing the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie.

For Netflix, 2026 seems like it’s going to be a big year in many ways. Alongside a ton of new content, the company is also in the process of acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery’s studios and streaming assets. The two companies announced the deal toward the end of 2025. While a final closure date is not confirmed (as Paramount continues to try and mount various hostile bids), it is expected that the closure of the deal could come around mid-2026.
