Benji’s Hour is a new coming-of-age movie that is directed by Gabriel Kahane. Starring Justin Mark (Gotham, Red Dead Redemption II), Holly Heiser (Sleepaway Slasher), and Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black), Benji’s Hour is being released next month by Buffalo 8.

What happens in the Benji’s Hour trailer?

The Benji’s Hour trailer “follows Benji (Justin Mark), a rebellious teenager sentenced to three months of court-mandated community service at a wig shop serving cancer patients.”

The description of the movie continues, “There, he forms an unexpected bond with Laura (Holly Heiser), a guarded coworker whose quiet pain mirrors his own, while the shop’s owner Susan (Catherine Curtin) offers a rare sense of compassion and stability. As their connection deepens, Benji is forced to confront the consequences of his choices and the question of who he wants to become.”

In addition to Mark, Heiser, and Curtin, Benji’s Hour stars Kirsten Russell and Emma Kothari. ComingSoon exclusively reported last year that Buffalo 8 had acquired the distribution rights to the movie.

Kahane is making his feature film directorial debut with Benji’s Hour. He also wrote the movie, having started the first draft of the script when he was just 15 years old on a New York City subway, and serves as a producer via his Gossamer Films banner. He is also an executive producer alongside John Hadity, Matthew Helderman, and Luke Taylor.

Benji’s Hour will be available for pre-order beginning on January 30, 2026, on Apple TV and Fandango at Home. It will then be released On Demand across platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Video, Verizon Fios, Fandango at Home, and major cable platforms, on February 13, 2026.
