2 of WB’s Oscar-Winning Movies Getting 4K Releases for 1st Time

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced the 4K release dates for two of its most iconic movies which have both won multiple Academy Awards. For the first time, 1959’s religious epic Ben-Hur and 1976’s biographical political thriller All the President’s Men will finally be available on 4K.

When is the 4K release date for Warner Bros.’ Ben-Hur and All the President’s Men movies?

Ben-Hur and All the President’s Men will both be available to purchase digitally in 4K Ultra HD and on 4K UHD Blu-ray disc starting on February 17, 2026. Both releases will include new special features.

Ben-Hur was directed by William Wyler, with Sam Zimbalist producing the movie. It was a remake of the 1925 silent film, based on Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of Christ. The movie starred Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Haya Harareet, Stephen Boyd, Hugh Griffith, Martha Scott, Cathy O’Donnell, and Sam Jaffe, with Heston winning the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. It currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“A member of the Jewish nobility living in Jerusalem, Judah Ben-Hur lives a religious life and peacefully opposes the tyrannical occupation of Judea by Rome,” reads the official synopsis. “When a boyhood friend, Messala, returns to the region as a Roman official, he and Judah become estranged due to Messala’s fanatical loyalty to Rome and ruthless indifference to the fate of Judea. Casting friendship aside, Messala fabricates a charge of treason against Ben-Hur, his sister, and mother, all of whom are arrested by Roman soldiers.​”

All the President’s Men was directed by Alan J. Pakula from a screenplay written by William Goldman, based on the 1974 non-fiction book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. The movie was led by an award-winning cast consisting of Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook, and Jason Robards. It won four Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor for Robards.

“The film follows Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, whose investigation of a seemingly minor hotel room break-in uncovers the greatest political scandal in United States history and leads to the downfall of President Richard Nixon,” reads the synopsis.
