Rachel McAdams Terrorizes Dylan O’Brien in 3D Send Help Trailer for Sam Raimi Movie

20th Century Studios has shared a brand new trailer for Send Help, the upcoming survival horror thriller from Evil Dead director Sam Raimi. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 30. Tickets are now available for purchase.

“In the film, two colleagues become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s an unsettling, darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the new Send Help trailer?

The video shows Rachel McAdams as Linda Liddle, an underappreciated employee who suddenly gets stranded on an island with his new boss, Bradley, who refuses to give her the promotion that she deserves. Their unlikely situation allows Linda the opportunity to terrorize him, as he begins to realize how much he needs Linda to survive the wild. The trailer also highlights some of the challenges they’ll encounter, including hunting wild animals and getting through a storm.

Send Help is directed by Raimi, with Damian Shannon and Mark Swift co-writing the screenplay. The movie also stars Dylan O’Brien, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Bruce Campbell, Thaneth Warakulnukroh, and more. The film is produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi, with JJ Hook serving as an executive producer. The creative team includes cinematographer Bill Pope, editor Bob Murawski, production designer Ian Gracie, and costume designer Anna Cahill. It will also feature original music by composer Danny Elfman.
