Jessica Chastain Has a Dangerous Affair in Dreams Trailer
Greenwich Entertainment has released the first trailer for Dreams, an upcoming drama starring Jessica Chastain and Isaac Hernández. Dreams is set to release in theaters on February 27, 2026.
“A powerful socialite (Academy Award® winner Jessica Chastain) and a promising ballet dancer (Isaac Hernández) begin a dangerous affair. When he secretly crosses the US-Mexico border, she takes desperate measures to protect their future together. A tense, erotic drama from acclaimed director Michel Franco (Memory, New Order),” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the Dreams trailer?
Alongside Chastain, the trailer highlights Isaac Hernández’s Fernando, a ballet dancer who falls in love with Chastain’s character, Jennifer, who takes in Fernando as part of the foundation she and her father run. The pair quickly develop a romantic relationship that people frown upon, all while Fernando struggles with his own private problems.
Dreams also stars Rupert Friend, Marshall Bell, Eligio Meléndez, and Mercedes Hernández.
Dreams is directed by Michael Franco, who previously directed 2023’s Memory, which also starred Chastain. The movie is also written by Franco, who serves as a producer alongside Eréndira Núñez Larios and Alexander Rodnyansky. Dreams wrapped filming in 2023, and screened at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival earlier this year, while also screening in the “Best of 2025” section of the Rome Film Festival in October.
The movie is Chastain’s latest since 2024’s Mothers’ Instinct, which starred in with Anne Hathaway. Up next for the Academy Award-winner is 2026’s Other Mommy, and Heartland, which has no release information as of now.
Hernández is an actual ballet dancer, with his career having spanned a litany of high-profile groups, including the San Francisco Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and being a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre since 2025. The dancer has also done some acting work, appearing in 2021’s The King of All the World alongside Dreams.
