Mark Wahlberg’s estimated earnings for 2025 place him among the highest-paid actors of the year, according to a new report. According to industry estimates, Wahlberg is projected to have earned roughly $60 million over the past year. The estimate highlights how Wahlberg continues to generate significant income with his streaming projects.

Mark Wahlberg estimated to have made $60 million in 2025

Mark Wahlberg’s 2025 earnings highlight how a strong focus on streaming projects can lead to substantial financial returns. According to Forbes, the actor is believed to have generated approximately $60 million this year. Before taxes and professional fees, that figure would have been sufficient to place Wahlberg among the top five highest-paid actors in the previous year.

A significant portion of Wahlberg’s income comes from his continued work in high-profile streaming projects. Since 2020, he has appeared in seven streaming films across four major platforms, including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Paramount+.

In 2025 alone, his releases included Play Dirty on Prime Video and The Family Plan 2 for Apple TV+, in addition to the limited theatrical release Flight Risk. As per Forbes, the actor earns an estimated $20-25 million per project.

Performance data from the platforms also highlight Wahlberg’s reach. Play Dirty quickly rose to the top of streaming charts after its release on Prime Video, drawing close to 23 million hours of viewing within its first three weeks.

Apple has previously reported that The Family Plan became its most-watched film upon release, while Netflix data shows that The Union narrowly missed the platform’s all-time top 10 list. According to Netflix’s viewing reports for the first half of 2025, users spent more than 350 million hours watching films led by the actor between January and June.

Despite his heavy involvement in streaming, Wahlberg has not fully stepped away from theatrical releases. In recent years, he has taken on select cinema projects, including a supporting role in Uncharted and lead performances in modestly budgeted films such as Flight Risk, Father Stu, and Arthur the King. Flight Risk, released earlier this year, earned $48 million worldwide and went on to perform strongly in video-on-demand markets.
