Kim Kardashian Netflix Movie The Fifth Wheel Gets Star-Studded Cast

Netflix has officially tapped Brenda Song (The Last Showgirl), Nikki Glaser (Trainwreck), and Fortune Feimster (Zootopia 2) to star opposite Kim Kardashian in the upcoming comedy movie The Fifth Wheel. They are set to play best friends, whose reunion gets gate-crashed by a stranger. The project has been in development since November 2023.

What do we know about The Fifth Wheel movie?

“In the film, a group of best friends from high school attempt to reconnect during a weekend jaunt to Vegas. When a hot outsider crashes the weekend, they’re forced to face their messy lives, bad decisions, and unraveling friendships,” reads the synopsis.

The Fifth Wheel movie will be directed by Eva Longoria (Flamin’ Hot), with Paula Pell (Girls5eva) and Janine Brito (Mr. Mayor) writing the screenplay. It is produced by Pell, Kardashian, Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, and Alex Brown for Gloria Sanchez Productions, with Mary Bundy and David Hyman serving as executive producers. It is produced by Cris Abrego and Longoria’s Hyphenate Media Group.

This marks Song, Feimster, and Glaser’s latest collaboration with Netflix, with Glaser previously guesting in the streamer’s Tom Brady Roast. The former Disney star is also set to reprise her role in the streamer’s Running Point Season 2. Meanwhile, Feimster was most recently seen in Netflix’s Arnold Schwarzenegger-led action comedy series Fubar.

Kardashian was most recently seen in the Hulu legal drama series All’s Fair. Despite receiving negative reviews, it still managed to score a second season renewal. She’s also currently attached to the star in the Group Chat series with Yaya DaCosta and Rebecca Rittenhouse.
