Peaky Blinders Movie Gets Theatrical & Netflix Release Dates, First Poster
The Peaky Blinders movie has received an exciting update.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is a forthcoming movie that serves as a sequel to the popular Peaky Blinders series. Created by Steven Knight, the show follows a crime family led by Thomas “Tommy” Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy. It ran for six seasons, with the finale having been released in 2022.
When is the release date for the Peaky Blinders movie?
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will be released in select theaters in the United States on March 6, 2026. It will then be available to watch on Netflix on March 20, 2026.
Murphy reprises his role as Tommy Shelby in the film, while the cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Jay Lycurgo, Barry Keoghan, and Stephen Graham. The script comes from Knight, while Tom Harper is directing the picture.

The official synopsis for the movie reads, “Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…”
Murphy told Netflix Tudum, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”
Knight also said of the plot, “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”
