Gal Gadot thanks Zack Snyder for Wonder Woman, shares screen test
Gal Gadot recently shared a video on Instagram, featuring herself in a screen test for the role of Diana Prince a.k.a Wonder Woman, with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. In the video, Gadot, as Diana Prince, steps out of a taxi just before Affleck, as Bruce Wayne, approaches her. She warns him not to contact her again before turning around and walking away.
In her post, Gadot thanked Zack Snyder for casting her as Wonder Woman, writing, “Twelve years ago today, I was cast as Wonder Woman. What a wild, life-changing ride with a character I love so much. I thought it would be fun to share my camera test with Ben — I watched it last night for the first time. @zacksnyder thank you for sharing this with me and for casting me as Diana Prince.”
While Gadot only allowed limited comments on this post, one fan wrote, “Seeing this and the wondrous journey your career has taken truly deserves a standing ovation. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to this craft and your never-ending commitment to delivering excellence always!”
Amid fan requests for the revival of the Snyderverse, Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder, who joined Instagram only a few months ago, often posts his own photos from the sets of his DC films. He recently shared behind-the-scenes snapshots of Ben Affleck in the armored Batman costume, as well as Henry Cavill as Clark Kent from the sets of his Justice League film. These posts have continued to fuel the growing hype among fans for the restoration of the Snyderverse.
