Wizard of Oz Horror Movie Sets Release Date, Gets Poster

Fathom Entertainment has revealed the release date for Gale: Yellow Brick Road, a horror reimagining of the iconic story of Wizard of Oz. For fans looking to check out the new movie,

When is Gale: Yellow Brick Road’s release date?

Gale: Yellow Brick Road will have a special, one-night-only theatrical engagement on February 11, 2026. Tickets for the event are on sale now, and the theatrical screening will also included a five-minute making-of featurette that airs before the before.

The featurette will include behind-the-scenes footage, showing off how some of the actors went through massive make-up processes to transform, as well as a deep dive into the world of Oz and how the movie reimagines it.

A new poster for the film, made by renowned horror film movie poster designer Creepy Duck Design, was also shown off, which you can see below:

Directed by Daniel Alexander in his directorial debut, Gale: Yellow Brick Road follows the story of Emily Gale, Dorothy’s granddaughter, a woman who is “tormented by visions, disjointed dreams, and an unshakable sense that reality itself is unraveling. As these disturbances mount, she is drawn toward a shadow world-a dark and magical realm that should not exist. Through chilling encounters and surreal revelations, Emily stumbles into the long-buried legacy of Oz-now a place of ruin, tragedy, and unspeakable horrors,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Gale: Yellow Brick Road stars Chloë Crump, Laura Kay Bailey, Hassan Taj, Rachel Hassett, Dara Abasuté, Karen Swan, H.C.A. Taylor, and Sarah Feltham.
