Jason Statham Action Movie Shelter Gets Exciting Trailer

Black Bear has shared the official trailer for Shelter, the upcoming action thriller led by Fast & Furious star Jason Statham. The movie is currently slated to arrive in theaters on January 30, 2026.

What do we know about Jason Statham’s Shelter movie?

“On a remote coastal island, a reclusive man named Michael Mason rescues a young girl from a deadly storm, drawing them both into danger. Forced out of isolation, he must confront his turbulent past while protecting her, sending them on a tense journey of survival and redemption,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.

Shelter is directed by Greenland filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh, with Ward Parry writing the screenplay. Joining Statham are Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet), Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice), Bill Nighy (Living), Harriet Walter (Sense and Sensibility), Daniel Mays (The Bank Job), Bronson Webb (Ted Lasso), Anna Crilly (The Sixth Commandment), Steven Blades (The Devil’s Hour), and more. In addition to leading the cast, Statham is also serving as a producer along with John Friedberg, Brendon Boyea, Greg Silverman, and Jon Berg.

Executive producers are Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Andrew Golov, Mike Shanks, Ric Roman Waugh, Rachael Cole, Volodymyr Artemenko, Yevgen Stupka, Macdara Kelleher, Victor Hadida, Gideon Yu, and Elizabeth A. Bell. The creative team consists of cinematographer Martin Ahlgren, editor Matthew Newman, composer David Buckley, production designer Tim Blake, and costume designer Suzie Harman.
