Ready or Not 2: View First Photos of ‘Unhinged’ Samara Weaving Horror Movie
Samara Weaving reprises her role of Grace in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the upcoming horror sequel to 2019’s surprise hit
People Magazine has shared the first photos of Weaving in the sequel. Weaving is spotted in a blood-soaked dress alongside her new co-star, Kathryn Newton. Weaving revealed that the “unhinged” sequel will insert Grace into another deadly scenario that goes hand in hand with its predecessor.
“Those sicko writers came up with a way in that’s somehow both a natural progression and very surprising,” Weaving said.

Who is involved in Ready or Not 2?
Besides Weaving and Newton, the Ready or Not 2 ensemble includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood.
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return to direct Ready or Not 2: Here I Come from a screenplay by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. The sequel’s plot details remained under wraps. However, the directors teased how Grace’s story will evolve in the sequel.
“It’s exciting to see Grace into a new f—ed-up situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure that this movie wasn’t just more of the same,” the duo told People. “We put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that we’re hoping fans of the first movie — and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time — will really love.”
2019’s Ready or Not follows Grace, who, on her wedding night, must fight to stay alive in a deadly game of hide-and-seek. If Grace’s in-laws do not kill her before dawn, then they will all die instead. The thriller garnered positive reviews and earned $57 million worldwide on a $6 million budget.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 10, 2026.
