Fans quickly flooded the comments section of the post expressing their love for the suit, while also expressing their hopes for a new Zack Snyder DC film announcement.
Zack Snyder shares new photo of Batman’s mech suit test
In a recent post on Instagram, Zack Snyder posted a monochrome picture of the armored Batman suit worn by Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As per his caption, “Leica monochrome hard suit test BvS,” he seems to have clicked the picture on his Leica Monochrom camera, which he also previously used for another picture of Ben Affleck in a different Batman suit, posted a week ago.
A few days ago, Snyder also posted a monochrome picture of Henry Cavill in his Superman costume that he shot on his iPhone. In his caption, the director thanked his fans for reaching 400k followers on Instagram. Since joining the social media platform only two months ago, the filmmaker has posted several shots taken on his Leica Monochrom camera. Last month, he shared a picture of Ben Affleck in a Batman suit and wrote in the caption, “In the portrait studio I built for Justice League, I captured this moment with Ben. No question—this man is Batman. Leica Monochrome, 50mm Dream Lens.”
As a result of Snyder’s posting spree on Instagram, many fans have been both excited and restless for a Snyderverse revival. One fan commented under Snyder’s latest Batman armored suit post, “Ben Affleck’s Batman movie. The film would’ve taken place in Arkham Asylum, and Batman would face Deathstroke as well as ending up fighting against the Joker. WE NEED THIS.” Another fan wrote, “Just announce it now I’m tired of waiting, let’s go.”
