Charli XCX Leads A24 Movie in The Moment Trailer
A24 has shared the official trailer for The Moment, the upcoming music drama led by Grammy Award winner Charli XCX. The marks the “Party 4 U” singer’s first major movie project as the lead.
In addition, the studio has also unveiled two posters for the movie, including a poster inspired by Charli XCX’s acclaimed 2024 album Brat. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 30, 2026.

What do we know about Charli XCX’s The Moment movie?
“A rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.
The Moment is directed by Aidan Zamiri in his feature-length directorial debut. The movie also stars Rosanna Arquette, Hailey Benton Gates, Kate Berlant, Jaime Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott, and Alexander Skarsgård. Additional cast members include Rish Shah, Arielle Dombasle, Trew Mullen, Sarah Beck Mather, Riana Duce, and Richard Perez.
Zamiri also co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes, based on an original idea by Charli XCX. Zamiri is a Scottish filmmaker best known for directing music videos for Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, and FKA Twigs. The movie is produced by Charli XCX and David Hinojosa. The creative team consists of director of photography Sean Price Williams, editor Billy Sneddon, production designer Francesca Di Mottola, and composer Alexander Guy Cook.
Before The Moment, the British pop singer and songwriter will first be seen in the upcoming romance fantasy 100 Nights of Hero with Emma Corrin and Maika Monroe. She’s currently attached to star in several star-filled movies, such as Cathy Yan’s thriller drama The Gallerist with Natalie Portman, the horror movie Faces of Death with Barbie Ferreira, and the erotic thriller I Want Your Sex with Olivia Wilde.
