Jumanji 3 Photo Gives First Look at Return of Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, & More
Sony Pictures has released the first look at Jumanji 3.
The photo teases the return of Dwayne Johnson as Dr. Xander “Smolder” Bravestone, Jack Black as Professor Sheldon “Shelly” Oberon, Kevin Hart as Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, and Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse.

Who is involved in Jumanji 3?
Johnson and Company are not the only stars from previous installments returning for the untitled Jumanji sequel. The cast includes Nick Jonas as Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough, Danny DeVito as Edward “Eddie” Gilpin, Lamorne Morris as Heater Repair Man, Marin Hinkle as Janice Gilpin, Bebe Neuwirth as Nora Shepherd, and Rhys Darby as Nigel Billingsley.
New cast members include Brittany O’Grady, Burn Gorman, Dan Hildebrand, and Jack Jewkes.
The four teenagers who play the teenage versions of the lead character are expected to return. This includes Alex Wolff as Spencer Gilpin, Morgan Turner as Martha Kaply, Ser’Darius Blain as Anthony “Fridge” Johnson, and Madison Iseman as Bethany Walker. Awkwafina is also likely to return as Ming Fleetfoot.
Jake Kasdan, who directed the previous two Jumanji movies, is directing Jumanji 3 from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg.
The original Jumanji came out in 1995 and starred Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, and Kirsten Dunst. The film centered around a magical board game that unleashes the creatures and chaos of the jungle into the real world. In 2005, Jon Favreau directed a Jumanji spin-off, Zathura: A Space Adventure.
In 2017, Johnson, Black, Hart, and Gillan starred in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Instead of a board game, Welcome to the Jungle revolved around a magical video game. The film became a smash hit, grossing over $962 million worldwide.
The success of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle spawned the 2019 sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level, which grossed $801 million worldwide.
Jumanji 3 is set to hit theaters on Christmas 2026.
