Tramell Tillman Teases MCU Debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tramell Tillman’s role in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 remains mysterious and unknown, but the Severance star did recently tease that it might not be what fans think it is.

What did Tramell Tillman say about his MCU debut?

Speaking to Variety at the Time100 Next Gala, Tillman was asked about his role in the upcoming movie. Specifically, Tillman was asked what it would be like to play a villain in the movie, something that has been reported since his casting was announced.

Tillman played the question off smoothly, and simply jokingly responded “Who says I’m a villain?” before noting that, while he couldn’t say anything about it, he was having a good time filming the movie. On the topic of villains as a whole, Tillman did say that he finds playing them enjoying, as they’re often complex characters to dive into.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie will once again be led by Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Emmy winner Zendaya and Jacob Batalo are also expected to return for the sequel.

They will be joined by cast members Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), Jon Bernthal, and Tillman, among others. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, and Avi Arad.

Spider-Man 4 will be released in United States theaters on July 31, 2026, ahead of Avengers: Doomsday (December 18, 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (December 17, 2027).
