Doctor Strange Writer’s New Horror Movie Gets Trailer & Poster
Magnet Releasing has shared the official trailer and poster for Man Finds Tape, the upcoming found footage horror movie from executive producer C. Robert Cargill (Sinister, Doctor Strange, The Black Phone). It is scheduled to debut on December 5 in select theaters and on digital platforms.
“Lucas Page’s viral YouTube channel features a series of creepy home videos. When he reaches out to his sister, Lynn, with surveillance footage of a murder in their hometown, she reluctantly returns to help him investigate the homicide,” reads the official synopsis. “In doing so, Lynn uncovers a disturbing secret tied to a decades-old supernatural phenomenon that casts doubt on whether anyone in town can be trusted. The arrival of a stranger with destructive intentions forces Lynn to confront her family’s role in a terrifying legend tied to a deadly monster stalking Larkin, TX.”

What happens in the Man Finds Tape trailer?
The trailer features siblings Lucas and Lynn as they try to investigate their family’s role in a mysterious murder that happened in their hometown, after Lucas found a creepy home video with his name on it. Their investigation leads them to uncover the town’s dark secrets involving its reverend. The video offers a preview of some of the movie’s terrifying sequences, including the siblings suddenly experiencing a decades-old supernatural phenomenon.
Man Finds Tape is written and directed by Texas natives Paul Gandersman and Peter S. Hall in their feature directorial debut. The movie stars Kelsey Pribilski, William Magnuson, John Gholson, Brian Villalobos, and Nell Kessler. Executive producers are Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian, Maxime Cottray, and James Shapiro. Loki Season 2 and Daredevil: Born Again directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are producing, along with David Lawson Jr and Ashley Landavazo.
