When is the release date for Frenzy Moon?
Frenzy Moon will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on November 11. Before this, the movie will also play in person this Friday, October 31, at the AMT Film Festival in Times Square, NYC.
The movie is written and directed by Lamberson. It is led by Alyssa Grace Adams (Slasher Days of Summer) as Jennifer, Aaron Krygier (Rust Belt Driller) as Gavyn, Kayla Malika Waller (Keekah and Friends) as Makayla, and Gabrielle Nunzio (Unbillievable! The Movie) as Sheila. Additional casting includes Harold Octavius Jacob, Steven Maiseke, Jacob Applegate, KateLynn E. Newberry, and Chad Ridgely. Executive producers are Ian Aberle, Bill Fisher, Marc J. Makowski, Armand John Petri, Kim Piazza, and David Tripet, with Lamberson, Chris Cosgrave, Tamar Lamberson, and Keith C. Lukowski serving as producers.
“Having seen both An American Werewolf in London and The Howling first-run when I was in high school, my goal with Frenzy Moon was to make a practical effects monster movie, because CGI werewolves just aren’t any fun,” Lamberson said in a statement. “That’s a tall order for a low-budget film, so I went with a cabin-in-the-woods scenario, which opened the door for a lot of Thing-style paranoia. It was still a tall order, and I’m glad I worked with such a talented cast of newcomers.”
