Beloved Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn Comedy Movie Gets Theatrical Rerelease

Wedding Crashers, the beloved comedy starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, will receive a theatrical rerelease later this year in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary.

When is the rerelease of Wedding Crashers starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson?

Fathom Entertainment has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to rerelease Wedding Crashers in theaters on December 4 and 11. This special release will feature an additional 10 minutes of deleted scenes from the 2006 home entertainment version of the movie.

Wedding Crashers is an R-rated comedy starring Wilson and Vaughn as friends John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey. John and Jeremy are business partners who spend their weekends crashing weddings in hopes of sleeping with women. The boys find themselves in over their heads when they crash the wedding of the U.S. Treasury Secretary’s daughter.

Despite promising never to fall in love while crashing a wedding, John and Jeremy unexpectedly meet two sisters, Claire and Gloria Cleary, who change their lives. For the first time, the duo might have found love, and it scares them.

The Wedding Crashers ensemble also includes Rachel McAdams as Claire, John’s love interest; Isla Fisher as Gloria, Jeremy’s love interest; Christopher Walken as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary, the father of Claire and Gloria; Bradley Cooper as Sack Lodge, Claire’s jerk of a boyfriend; and Jane Seymour as Kathleen Cleary, William’s wife.

David Dobkin directed Wedding Crashers from a screenplay by Steve Faber and Bob Fisher. Producers included Peter Abrams, Robert L. Levy, and Andrew Panay.

Released in July 2005, Wedding Crashers received positive reviews, with many critics calling it a sweet and raunchy comedy. The film was a smash hit at the box office, grossing $288 million worldwide on a $40 million budget.

Tickets for the Wedding Crashers rerelease are now on sale at Fathom Entertainment’s website and participating theaters.
