Sinners Theatrical Rerelease Set Just in Time for Halloween

Sinners, dubbed one of this year’s greatest horror movie releases, is getting the perfect theatrical rerelease date just in time for Halloween.

When will Sinners be back in movie theaters?

With the spooky season just around the corner, Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed vampire thriller is returning to theaters months after it graced HBO Max back in July. The movie will be screening once again in select IMAX theaters from October 30 to November 5.

This comes as no big surprise considering how well the supernatural feature performed during its original theatrical release. Moreover, the movie also did well critically, securing high critical scores across different outlets. It was even hailed as the best original movie of 2025, largely due to Coogler’s script and direction.

Michael B. Jordan takes on dual roles in Sinners, portraying twin brothers Elijah “Smoke” Moore and Elias “Stack” Moore. The two, also known as the Smokestack Twins, return to their hometown in Mississippi, hoping to start anew and leave their troubled past behind. However, they soon realize that a terrifying force has been awaiting their return.

“Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Sinners is the newest project bringing together Coogler and Jordan, who have previously teamed up on both Black Panther films, Fruitvale Station, and the Creed franchise.

Sinners also stars Hailee Steinfeld as Stack’s ex-girlfriend Mary, Jack O’Connell as the Irish vampire Remmick, Miles Caton as Sammie Moore, Buddy Guy as Old Sammie, Jayme Lawson as Pearline, Wunmi Mosaku as Smoke’s estranged wife Annie, Delroy Lindo as Delta Slim, Omar Benson Miller as Cornbread, Li Jun Li as Grace Chow, Peter Dreimanis as Bert, Lola Kirke as Joan, and more.

Tickets for Sinners’ theatrical rerelease are now available for purchase via IMAX’s official website.
