Sacha Baron Cohen’s Dirty Action Movie Coming to Netflix Very Soon  

Netflix is gearing up to add one of Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy movies to its streaming list next month. The Brothers Grimsby, a 2016 action-comedy directed by Louis Leterrier, stars Cohen alongside Mark Strong. Despite its modest box office returns, the film has since gained a massive fan following.

Netflix is set to expand its comedy lineup with the addition of The Brothers Grimsby, a movie starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Mark Strong.

As per What’s on Netflix, the 2016 action-comedy, directed by Louis Leterrier, will arrive on the streaming platform on November 1.

The story centers on Sebastian Graves (Mark Strong), an elite MI6 operative whose life is thrown off balance when he reconnects with his long-lost brother, Nobby Butcher (Sacha Baron Cohen). Nobby is a foul-mouthed man from the working-class town of Grimsby. Despite their vastly different worlds, the two must team up to prevent a bio-terrorist attack involving a lethal virus.

The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Isla Fisher, Rebel Wilson, Penélope Cruz, and Gabourey Sidibe. While The Brothers Grimsby received mixed reviews upon release, critics praised its humor and performances. The movie currently holds a 37% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 136 reviews. 

Alison Willmore of BuzzFeed noted, “Which is what makes the joke at the heart of Sacha Baron Cohen’s new comedy The Brothers Grimsby such an enjoyable one, even when the film as a whole weaves between being just hilariously foul and incoherently sloppy. It takes fellow Bond deconstruction Kingsman: The Secret Service’s class consciousness to more outrageous extremes.”

At the box office, The Brothers Grimsby earned about $6.9 million domestically and $21 million internationally. This adds up to almost $28 million worldwide against a reported production budget of $35 million.  (via Box Office Mojo)
