Weapons HBO Max Streaming Release Date Set for 2025’s Best Horror Movie

The Weapons streaming release date has officially been set, with Zach Cregger’s massively popular horror movie available to stream soon on HBO Max.

When does Weapons come out on HBO Max?

According to Warner Bros. in a new announcement, Weapons will be available on HBO Max beginning on October 24, 2025, just in time for Halloween. The movie will also begin airing on HBO’s linear cable network channels the next day, on October 25, 2025.

“When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Weapons is written and directed by Cregger, who is also serving as the producer. Alongside Brolin and Garner, Weapons also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan. It is produced by Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules, with Michelle Morrissey and Josh Brolin set as executive producers.

Following its release, Weapons was a smash hit. The film grossed over $260 million at the box office and is widely praised as one of the best horror movies of the year. After Weapons, Cregger is now working on a Resident Evil movie, but reports suggest that the director is also planning on making a prequel film starring the film’s mysterious villain Gladys.
