Elizabeth Olsen Chooses Between Miles Teller & Callum Turner in New Eternity Trailer

A24 has released a brand new trailer for Eternity, the upcoming romantic comedy led by Golden Globe nominee Elizabeth Olsen. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters this coming Thanksgiving.

“In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with and her first love, who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the new Eternity trailer?

The video features Olsen as a recently deceased woman who is faced with the difficult decision of choosing between her first love and her husband, on whom she wants to spend her afterlife. The trailer highlights how Miles Teller and Callum Turner‘s characters will try to win her heart once again. They each get a chance to take her on a date, showing off Olsen’s undeniable chemistry with Teller and Turner. Since its world premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, the movie has already received a Tomatometer rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 28 reviews.

Eternity is directed by David Freyne from a screenplay he co-wrote with Pat Cunnane. The cast also includes Olga Merediz (Orange Is the New Black) and John Early (Search Party), with Academy Award winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers). In addition to starring, Olsen and Teller have also signed on as executive producers. It is also produced by Tim White and Trevor White, with Michael Williams serving as an executive producer.
